This mug made out of black clay and has beautiful blue glaze dripping down from the rim over glossy black glaze. I've named this mug Tess. She hold 235 ml and are approximately 3 inches tall. This mug can be used in the dishwasher. Since this mug is made of black clay, it is not recommended for microwave use as the iron oxide stain used to darken the clay gets hot. Like all Stainsby Studios products, this mug is glazed in non-toxic, lead-free, food-safe glazes.

All Stainsby Studios products are handmade by me, Eleanor Stainsby, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and glazed with non-toxic, lead-free, food-safe glazes. Because each piece is handmade, they all possess their own individual character. Form, pattern & color will vary slightly with each piece. You can feel good about your purchase too: a portion of the proceeds from every purchase is donated to a local food bank.
