Quilt Platter Two

Sometimes I get an idea for a piece and I just can't shake it. I KNOW that it's going to be a challenge and I spend some time trying to talk myself out of it because hard things can be scary. This is one of those. I've been playing with pop art and graphic patterns and this quilt design is inspired by Libs Elliot, a Toronto quilt artist I recently discovered.

This platter is 11 inches wide and 1 3/8 inches tall. The edges of the platter tilt inward slightly. It's durable and functional as it's made out of stoneware. It is also microwave and dishwasher safe.  Like all Stainsby Studios products, this platter is glazed with non-toxic, lead-free, food-safe glazes.
