Stainsby Studios Refund Policy
Although I would like everyone to love their pieces, I know that won't always be the case. If you are unhappy with your purchase, please contact me to discuss your options. I do not offer exchanges because I rarely have extra stock on hand.
Returns
We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return. To start a return, you can contact us at info@stainsbystudios.com.
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrived damaged or defective, we can't accept returns for custom or personalized orders.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, and in its original condition. Items must be returned within 14 days of receiving your purchase.
Returns for Holiday Gifts
Items purchased from Nov. 10 to Dec. 24, 2025 may be returned until January 14, 2026. That means you have until January 10 to request a return. Items must be shipped back to Stainsby Studios by January 14, 2026. All other Stainsby Studios policies apply: custom or personalized orders cannot be returned and your item must be in the same condition that you received it.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within seven business days.
Shipping
To return your product, you should mail your product to: 115 Sheldrake Blvd, Toronto ON M4P 2B1, Canada. Please email the tracking number to info@stainsbystudios.com
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
All items should be shipped using tracked shipping. We do not guarantee that we will receive your item.
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. We do not offer returns on custom or made-to-order items.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
We do not offer exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
